Team Costa walks in memory of my dad who meant so much to my family.  He is missed every day.  

We walk to raise money for families affected by ALS and for research so we can one day strike this disease out.  

Lou Gehrig affected by ALS stood in front of the New York Yankee crowd on July 4, 1939.  On this day Gehrig delivers his famous speach where he considers himself the luckiest man on the face of the earth.  At the end of his speach he closes saying “I may have had a tough break but I have an awful lot to live for”......let’s defeat this disease so anyone affected by it can have an awful lot to live for.
