As some of you may know my aunt was diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis(ALS) A.K.A. Lou Gehrig's Disease in July 2010 at the age of 38. What is ALS? It's a fatal nerve degenerative disease, which eventually completely paralyzes the individual. My aunt was a very active individual and this disease made her practically immobile. She got pneumonia November 2014, and ALS had affected her lungs so much that she was unable to fight it. Ana passed away the morning of December 8th, 2014.
My family has organized a team and this will be our seventh year participating in the NYC ALS Walk. So I'm asking you all for help. We appreciate any kind of support or donation(even $5 will help). THANK YOU FOR LISTENING AND PLEASE CONTINUE TO SPREAD THE WORD, BECAUSE IT'S A LOT MORE COMMON THEN WE ALL THINK.
Thank you for helping me reach my Walk to Defeat ALS(TM) fundraising goal! This is an exciting opportunity for us to work together to support those affected by Lou Gehrig's Disease and to spread awareness of the urgency to find treatments and a cure.
Please consider walking with me or sponsoring me. With your help, we will be able to make a difference in the lives of people affected by this disease. I encourage you get your friends, family, neighbors and coworkers involved!
