Hello Friends,
I am participating in the ALS walk on June 9 in Saddle River Park in honor of my friend Debbie. She was diagnosed with ALS in April 2009. She, along with her husand Jimmy, as well as their beatiful little daughter Dana, were completely blindsided by this disease. Who would think some slurred speech could change your life forever. Without our help in fighting this disease, Debbie won't have the chance to see Dana off on her first date, help her shop for her prom gown, or stand proud at her graduation. Dana needs her mom, and we need your support to find a treatment for ALS.
Please consider walking with me or sponsoring me. With your help, we will be able to make a difference in the lives of people affected by Lou Gehrig's Disease. I encourage you get your friends, family, neighbors and coworkers involved! No donation is too small, and every walker and donation are greatly appreciated.
Thank you for helping me reach my Walk to Defeat ALS(TM) fundraising goal!
This is an exciting opportunity for us to work together to support those affected by Lou Gehrig's Disease and to spread awareness of the urgency to find treatments and a cure.
Thank you so much!
Maria
