Donald’s Dreamers are walking in honor of Donald J. Tase. He was an amazing husband, brother, father, grandfather and friend. He was diagnosed with ALS in 1999 and passed in August of 2001. As we come closer to the 20 year anniversary of his passing, my family has decided to get the team back together and raise money for the ALS association. Your generous donation could help us get one step closer to finding a cure so we can defeat ALS. We have felt the heartache of losing someone to this horrible disease and in finding a cure, we could help families in the future to avoid the same heartache that ours experienced 20 years ago. ABOUT ALS
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow and breathe. The life expectancy of a person with ALS averages 2 to 5 years from the time of diagnosis.
ALS can strike anyone. Presently there is no known cause of the disease, yet it still costs loved ones an average of $250,000 a year to provide the care people living with ALS and their families need. Join the movement to provide help and hope today!
