Please consider sponsoring me for the ALS Walk. I am walking in memory of my dear friend and colleague Byron Gustafson. Byron may have lost his battle against ALS, but he lives on in my heart.
Let's work together to support those affected by Lou Gehrig's Disease and to spread awareness of the urgency to find treatments and a cure. ALS is a devastating, fatal disease -- every 90 minutes someone is diagnosed and sadly every 90 minutes someone dies from this dreadful disease.
Your support of the Walk will make a difference in the lives of those affected by ALS. The money we raise helps the ALS Association lead global research, assist people with ALS, fund multi-disciplinary certified clinical care centers, and foster government partnerships. The Association builds hope and enhances quality of life while aggressively searching for new treatments and a cure.
As I have learned more about ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease, I’ve come to realize that it is probably one of the worst diseases of modern times. The deadly illness has no known cause and no cure. When a person is diagnosed, they are typically given only two to five years to live. During that time, the neurological disease gradually paralyzes its victims, robbing them of their ability to walk, speak, eat, and eventually breathe.
Every dollar makes a difference! Please help us win this fight.
Thank you!!
