Please join Quinn for the Win and support the ALS Association Greater New York chapter by walking with us on June 26th!

Pat Quinn was diagnosed with ALS on March 8, 2013,  about a month after his 30th birthday. Pat has been a lifelong Westchester resident and attended Iona Prep where he played basketball and Iona College where he played college Rugby.

Over the last three years, Pat has inspired all of our lives.  He has demonstrated a great deal of  strength, courage, and perseverance to encourage awareness about this debilitating disease.  Pat is committed to illustrate that ALS does not discriminate- it can affect anyone.  Pat is positive, optimistic and always has a fighting attitude.  He inspires people every day and continues to do so in his fight against ALS!

In 2014, Pat has increased ALS awareness and funds while being at the forefront of the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge that began in Westchester, NY! The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge has put ALS in conversations across the globe and has raised hundreds of millions of dollars! It has unified patients across the world to have hope and encouragement!

Pat has made a committment to spread awareness for the urgent need of a treatment, research and education through various media outlets, speaking before Congress and educating various levels of schools about ALS.  Pat has given talks to facebook, google, wrired magazine and kilick health to name a few....Pat continues to give inspirational speeches about the urgency of a treatment and how to overcome adversity.

Pat, Jenn, and family receive tremendous support from the ALSA Greater New York Chapter in many different facets; support groups, attending various fundraisers, participating in the YPG, and having such amazing relationships with the various members of the GNY chapter team! Pat also attends the ALS Association's sponsored clinic at the Hospital for Special Surgery where he is treated by Dr. Lange and his awesome staff!
