After living an active life for many years, in 2016 I was given the devastaing news that I had ALS.
My ability to engage in many aspects of life have been taken away from me. With no cure at present, it took months for me to regroup and live every day as best I can, not knowing what tommorrow will bring.
While I hope that a cure for ALS is on the horizon, If I can't be cured, my wish is for others in years to come to have the benefit of a cure for this horrible disease.
Finding a cure for ALS involves costly research and I am asking you to donate to help find a cure.
Randy and I will be participating in a Walk-A-Thon in Eisenhower Park on September 22 and we will be uplifted to have friends and family by our side as we walk to help end the horrorof an ALS diagnosis.
