Over a year ago my father, Bob Sager was diagnosed with ALS. My dad is a retired NYPD Detective and first responder for 911. He took so much pride in being a detective and protecting the community. He’s the life of the party and can become anyones best friend within two minutes! He’s a big ball of happiness and silliness!! Sadly my father has lost his speech, has difficulty eating and breathing all due to this illness but he won’t let it stop him!! As he likes to say, “ALS is just three little letters, you’ll need the whole alphabet to get me down!” Please help and support my father in his fight with ALS!!

ABOUT ALS
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow and breathe. The life expectancy of a person with ALS averages 2 to 5 years from the time of diagnosis.
ALS can strike anyone. Presently there is no known cause of the disease, yet it still costs loved ones an average of $250,000 a year to provide the care people living with ALS and their families need. Join the movement to provide help and hope today!
