I received a wonderful video of our virtual walk last year. from the ALS Chicago Organization. It was to remind us that the time is coming up for us to start thinking about this year's walk. Many shots of our team were featured in that video. It brought back some fond memories! As a matter of fact, I was asked to be a participant in a Zoom meeting with ALS to share our story and how we made the virtual walk work for our family and friends. Thanks to you all, we were successful in surpassing our goal. It's so hard to believe that it is going on a year since our last walk...unless you consider Covid, then it seems like a lifetime ago!
This year's walk will still be in small groups, but since the location worked out so well for our group last year, we are thinking of keeping our walk at the same location. I know Patrick will be there in spirit! It will be so nice to get together with everyone and enjoy some nice weather!
Love you all,
Erin

Patrick was a proud Veteran of the United States Air Force and served as a Security Specialist. He attended St. Michael's and Carl Sandburg H.S. in Orland Park, IL and attended Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, IL. Patrick was a devout Catholic and member of St. Thomas More Roman Catholic Church, 3rd Degree member of the Knights of Columbus and the American Legion. He was very service orientated and always put others first. Patrick will be dearly missed.
