I’ll never forget the day we were told my father Francis Wojcik was being diagnosed with ALS it was something most 12 year olds don’t ever hear and I hope that one day they never will have to hear. My dad fought long and hard for 8 years and never gave up and put up a white flag. This will be the first year we walk in memory of him instead of with him. I hope that one day a cure is found and children will no longer have to watch their parents suffer from such a horrid disease.
