The 50th running of the TCS New York City Marathon is set for November 7, 2021. Over the past 50 years, the New York City Marathon has grown from a local road race held entirely in Central Park to the world’s largest marathon. This year's event is expected to host approximately 33,000 finishers.

The race is held annually on the first Sunday of November and welcomes participants from over 125 countries to tour the diverse neighborhoods of New York City’s five boroughs—Staten Island, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, and Manhattan.

Team ALS runners use their miles to make a difference by fundraising and raising awareness toward the fight for a cure. In 2019, Team ALS marathoners raised more than $350,000.
